Spinning, cheese and other ventures

I'd write something exciting about some piece of art I was working on but life is taking me in other directions.
I am teaching myself to spin poi. Maybe someday I'll spin fire but since I like my skin the way it is I think I will move to double veil poi once it warms up outside. Much safer.
Cheese - well I've been meaning to pursue this. I'm going to start making cheese. I'm a pretty good chemist if I may say so myself so I think I can figure this out. I also seem to have lucked into a supplier of goat milk in addition to the fresh squeezed cow milk I have courtesy of my neighbor.
Soap - also on to do list.

silk, silk, and more silk

Life has been busy. Master's degree is done. Finished this summer. :)
Now its been work, work, work. But I just bought an incredible number of silks to dye. Hopefully people will buy them.
And, I dyed a piece that was 9 ft and textured the fabric for an art exhibit. The gallery director made it the centerpiece of the exhibit. I'll try to get a good picture of it. Oh...its supposed to be a water fall.
