Its Monday. Still no power. Lines are down everywhere. Friday we got together with neighbors and helped to clear the road. All total the neighborhood road party cleared over 2 miles - not bad.

But there are phone lines on the ground as well as broken telephone poles and electrical lines down. It is still a maze getting to the main road. Center of town just got power yesterday.

They say we may not have power until Thursday or Friday. I will be happy when it is back but I am grateful for firewood to keep house warm. Finding water for horses is an issue.

The contents of the fridge are outside to stay cool. We ate all the ice cream the first day - sundaes for lunch and after dinner. So much for that 1/2 gallon of ice cream.

Thank goodness for car chargers to recharge laptop batteries and for us not loosing phone line.

Tawnya I think is getting a little stressed out at the lack of power. When the chain saw got thrown I figured Tawnya was reaching breaking point. Don't mess with red heads wielding chain saws.

Time to go stoke the fire again.
